Commercial Office Soundproofing with SONOpanX by Caryndale Contracting

By carefully evaluating various soundproofing options, Caryndale Contracting chose SONOpanX panels to address both impact and airborne noise between floors. The installation started with SONOpanX panels directly on the existing subfloor from the original rental unit. They topped this layer with ¼-inch plywood for t​he necessary structure and a smooth base for the new luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring. This assembly provided an efficient noise barrier, greatly reducing vibrations from footsteps and limiting sound transmission to the lower business area. Feedback from occupants was immediate, with a significant improvement in acoustic comfort; crucial for a professional environment.
