To address exterior and interior noise, SONOpan soundproofing panels were placed in all exterior walls, partitions, and ceilings. Each panel has thousands of sound-absorbing impressions designed to reduce sounds, especially the high-frequency noise from traffic and trains.
The installation included finishing assemblies with 5/8” type-X drywall for extra mass and fire safety. Resilient channels were added to separate wall and ceiling surfaces, cutting down vibrations. Batt insulation helped prevent resonance, and new soundproof windows fully blocked outside noise. As a result, guests could enjoy calm, quiet rooms.
