The wall assembly featured wood studs, OSB sheathing, fiberglass insulation, SONOpan acoustic panels, and double 5/8 inch drywall layers with staggered seams to decouple surfaces and eliminate sound flanking paths. Ceilings employed resilient channels, insulation, and 5/8 inch drywall, forming a high performance system proven to target both airborne noise (voices, TVs, music) and impact noise (footfalls, furniture shifts).
