Basement Walls

It is recommended to add SONOpan to basement walls where noise is generated such as mechanical rooms and washrooms. This will prevent unwanted noises WITHIN the basement.

It is also recommended to soundproof walls where flanking could be of concern. Flanking occurs in basements when sound travels around the soundproofed ceiling. For extreme soundproofing applications walls should be treated to ensure flanking doesn’t take place.
